Turning Day into Night / by Teddy Mitchener

Keeping it Old school, I almost always look for ways to create the shot I want in camera first then only using Photoshop to polish off the image, and in this case, turning day into night.

In this instance, I turned day into night during one of my Canon masterclasses on fashion photography. I always stress to my students that in order for one to master their craft, they must know everything they possibly can about the equipment they are using, regardless of what kind of equipment it is. With technology getting more advanced by the day, one cannot fully master that same technology, without mastering the basics.

I also share 3 very simple tips for one undertaking fashion photography. At the end of the day, its all about keeping it simple…thats where the magic begins!
